Guidelines for Author (s)/ Contributors

1. Manuscript size should be in the range of 5000 to 6000 words.

2. Maximum number of authors for a paper is TWO.

3. The journal follows Turabian Citation Style from Issue no. 79 Winter 2016.

4. The text/s of the articles should be in British style of English writing.

5. Submitted articles must not have been previously published or currently submitted to a journal elsewhere.

6. Each article will go through a double blind peer review process as per HEC standards. 

7. The subject matter of the articles should be confined only to matters related to Central Asia, Russia, China, Afghanistan & Tribal Areas of Kyber Pakhtunkhwa preferably on Social Sciences.

8. The irrelevant article/s, in the considered opinion of the Editorial Board, will not be accepted and; consequently, would be returned back to the author/s as soon as possible.

9. The Editor/s will reserve the right to edit or otherwise alter all contributions, if required, but authors will receive proofs for approval before publication.

10. Full postal addresses; as well as e-mail, Tel/ cell; and fax numbers, if any, have to be clearly written by the contributors for correspondence

Call for Papers

Area Study Centre (Russia, China & Central Asia) is inviting papers from area specialists/ researcher scholars for the upcoming issue of its bi-annual research journal “Central Asia”. The subject matter of the articles should be confined only to matters related to Central Asia, Russia, China, Afghanistan & FATA preferably on Social Sciences. Researchers are invited to submit their manuscripts electronically via email to the Editor.
